This weekend, I took the boys to Discovery Place to play. Scott had a bachelor party in Myrtle Beach and Will's soccer game was cancelled due to soggy fields after 3 days of rain. So, it was the perfect day to use our passes and play inside. There's a circus exhibit on at the moment and Will was fired up to see it.
Later on that same afternoon, the boys got into Scott's hockey gear which was airing out on the screened-in porch. Will asked me "Mum, why's Dad's hockey gear all wet?" I didn't have the heart to tell him it was all the sweat from his game the night before. Instead, Will came to a better (and way less gross) conclusion "it must have gotten wet from the all the rain coming in through the screen". Yah, buddy...you're right.
Here's some of my favorite pictures from my Saturday with the boys:
Meanwhile, Alex has REALLY become a hooligan in the last week. His nose is very scratched up and scabby from yet another spill down the neighbor's driveway (this makes 3 wipeouts so far this spring for anyone counting). Nothing seems to phase him. I've been coating his nose in Neosporin hoping it doesn't scar. He looks like such a brute :(
While Will was at soccer tonight, Alex was up to his same old antics. Here's what I mean:
