Dump Truck Racing

First, I have to say how thrilled I am to have a camera again. My old one died 2 weeks ago and I ordered a new one from what turned out to be a very shady company. After waiting a week and a half, I finally realized it wasn't coming- ever. Fortunately, our credit card hasn't been billed either. So, I ordered one from a MUCH more reputable store and it arrived on Friday. As a blogging addict, I felt lost without a camera. Now, all I need to do is sit down and read the manual....

With the camera arriving Friday, I had to try it out. Fortunately Will was busy playing in the cul-de-sac with the neighbors (girls ages 8 and 6 and a boy who's 4) so there was lots of action. Between the four kids, they've got lots of imagination. One day they're using sidewalk chalk to draw roads and using their bikes and scooters to race around the mock city. They've even added intersections, merges, stop signs and traffic lights. I try to be a bystander whenever possible and not interfere too much. Most of the time I end up chatting outside with the kids' mom. On Friday, they were having dump truck races down the street. Here's a quick video:
