I feel like a new woman! Last weekend I went with 4 of my mom friends (Jennifer, Jenn, Sarah & Sara) to Litchfield, SC for girl's weekend. Our last getaway was 3 years ago and was a 1-nighter. This year, we scored 2-nights away since it was a long-weekend (Columbus Day) for our banker husbands. Litchfield is about 20 minutes south of Myrtle Beach.
We headed out on Saturday morning and got to the outlets in time for lunch. After a few hours of shopping we checked in and hit the grocery store for lots of snacks and breakfast stuff. We got changed, enjoyed some wine and went out for a fun seafood dinner and a night of dancing. Us wild women didn't leave the bar until 1:30am!
On Sunday we lounged around in our jammies, watched cheesy TV and checked out the really cute Hammock Shops after lunch. We browsed around for the afternoon and came back for lasagna and more wine. We laughed hysterically playing the game "Catch Phrase". After dinner, we put our jammies on, grabbed a "Skinny Cow" fudge bar each and absorbed ourselves in Desperate Housewives.
We checked out on Monday, had a long stroll down the beach and finished off with a picnic lunch. Then we piled back in the minivan to drive back to Charlotte. It was the perfect weekend...relaxing, no schedule, great friends and good conversation. We need to start planning for next year!!

Thanks for not mentioning that we pigged out on M&Ms so much that we could hardly put a dent in the lasagna. :)
