I think one of Will's 4-year old dreams came true this weekend. On Sunday, we went to the Charlotte Checkers game and he got to ride on the Zamboni. A buddy of Scott's knows some of the guys who work for the Checkers and he got Will a seat on one of the two Zambonis that resurface the ice between the 2nd and 3rd period. I asked Will if he wanted me to ride with him, and he said no. I reminded him to do lots of smiling and waving. He was great with the waving but tried to hold in the smiles (I think it was part of the cool factor). They even announced his name and showed him up on the jumbo-tron. With his new Charlotte Checkers jersey on, I know he felt like the coolest kid around.
