OK, after hearing so much from my friends about geocaching we HAD to give it a try. While Scott was golfing on Saturday, the boys and I met up with my friend Tracy and her boys at the Whitewater Center. We rented a handheld GPS, got a quick tutorial and tried our luck hunting for "caches". The caches are green metal boxes containing a stamp for your passport, a log book and some information about a specific animal. We got off to a slow start but eventually found our first cache...this one was about bats. With our confidence boosted, we set out looking for another one and found it up an incline stashed behind a huge fallen tree. We dodged several mountain bikers on the trails and had a few trips and falls over some tree roots but had an awesome time!! We'll definitely be out there again. Thanks to Tracy, Justin (aka Indiana Jones) & Wesley for such a great treasure hunt!

Would you all be interested in doing a MOM's club caching event??!!
That sounds like a great experience. A lot of people seem to really enjoy it. :-)
