Will and Alex have a new baby cousin! Born only 6 hours past her actual due date, my brother Tim, sister-in-law Robin and niece Lily welcomed Paige Olivia on Sunday morning. We got the "baby call" at around 7am on Sunday morning and by 9:30am we were on the road up to Greensboro to meet the newest addition to the family.
It's amazing to think that my family of 4 (Mum, Dad, Tim and me) has now more than doubled to 10! Growing up in Canada with just the four of us made for pretty quiet holidays. With all my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents living in the UK, we didn't see any of our relatives on a regular basis. We'd have the occasional Christmas where my grandparents came over, and I even remember having an "uncle-mania" weekend where BOTH my uncles (my Mum's brother AND my Dad's brother) happened to be visiting.
Now, that we live in the South we seems to get a few more relatives visiting....after all you can only handle the cold, wet weather in England for so long!! Scott and I have also been "across the pond" a couple of times to visit. But, still it's amazing to think that our little family of 4 has grown to ten! First with spouses, and then with Tim and I each having two kids. As my parents said this weekend, "we're quickly outgrowing the 3 bedroom condo at the beach!" But, we couldn't be happier.

She's cute!!! I've been meaning to ask you about them... didn't even know it was another girl and that it was time for her to be here... Guess it's been a while since we've gotten together to chat!!!
Sooo precious!...and wow, has Lily grown - sooo cute; I can see resemblance to Alex! Miss you guys oodles-Congrats to Big Cousins, Will and Alex!
