Halloween 2008

After laying low all week with Alex's cough and runny nose it was liberating to get out and enjoy Halloween. We kicked things off at 6pm with the neighborhood parade. It's always a pleasant surprise to see how many young kids there are living here. There was a costume contest, goodies and you could have your picture taken with a scarecrow. Then, by 6:30pm the kids hit the streets. Scott went home to man the door and I took the boys to a few houses. By 7:15 Will was pooped and ready to go home to check out his loot.

Alex the Lion was a trooper (a Jolly Rancher lollipop had him entertained for majority of the wagon ride). Will was great about asking for a candy for his little brother. Although after putting the first few goodies in Alex's bag he then decided he might as well just put them all in his bag!
